am in Atar now, and have found a home, but there are a few notes I wanted to clarify before I start putting in Atar entries so that everyone is on the same page:

The region of the country in which I live is called Adrar. The city I live in is Atar. Don’t get the two confused.

Here is a list and discription of the people in my region separated by the cities they live in.

Atar:

-Jessica: Small enterprise and development volunteer. She has curly red hair and looks like a young version of Marian’s mom on The Music Man.

-Allison: Health Water and Sanitation volunteer. She has travelled all over the world and speaks fluent Chinese.

-Audrey: Small enterprise and development volunteer staying on from last year. Basically the team captin, she is a cute little blond that really enjoys alcohol.

Tarwaz:

-Alexis: Looks like snow white she is an English teacher in a town just outside of Atar. Her fiancé is arriving in less than a week to live with her here

Chingetti:

-Jeff: Also EE, this is the guy I spent the last few months with in M’Beidia.

-Erin: English teacher also staying on from last year. I haven’ had much time to get to know her.

Oudane:

-Todd and Saman: The married couple from my class. Todd is a tall blond whose voice is identical to Matthew McConohey(sp?). He is an English teacher. Saman is a Health Water and Sanitation Volunteer. Her parents are from Sri Lanka, so she is constantly being accused of not being American by Mauritanians.
