I made it to Atar yesterday. Compared to our last trip up in the taxi brousse this one was like heaven. In the PC vehicle It took a quarter of the time and was ridiculously less crowded and more comfortable. I am fine and in good health. I am house hunting and will hopefully have found a place to live in by the end of the week.

I am going to start putting in some of my older entries from M’Bedia. I lost one of them somewhere in my travels. I wrote it when I first got back to M’Beidia, and it mostly consisted of me complaining about how much I missed the big city, so don’t fear, you aren’t missing much.

So without further ado let’s time travel back 3 weeks to a small black moor village 35 km northwest of Kaedi…
